Personal Assistant for Cheerful Senior (Night Shift)
God Assistans provides personal assistance to clients across Sweden. We are a company with a big heart, high competence, and genuine commitment to what we do. With extensive experience in personal assistance, we always strive to simplify daily life for our clients and create a secure working environment for our employees.
We believe in the importance of personal treatment, high availability, and quick service – and we work every day to live up to this.
What we offer our employees:
- Collective agreement
- Health promotion benefit up to 4,000 SEK/year
- Continuous education and competence development
About the client
The client is a cheerful and positive woman over 70 years old living in an adapted ground-floor apartment. After a period of illness where she was bedridden, she has started using her wheelchair again with the help of assistants and a lift. The wheelchair is her main tool; she can drive it herself, but assistants can also push her for longer distances.
Days often involve rolling down to the grocery store or going out for coffee in the sun. The client has been paralyzed since a stroke in 1996 and values the companionship and support of her assistants around the clock. She spends much of her time playing strategy games on her iPad/mobile and watching TV series and movies.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who is cheerful and positive and does not mind cigarette smoke, as the client smokes indoors. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication is conducted in Swedish.
Job details
We are looking for someone who can work approximately 1–2 days per week during the night shift, between 19:00–08:00 (with waiting time from 23:30). A driver's license is not required as there are good bus connections.
Interview and documentation
Before an interview, we ask you to prove your right to work in Sweden by presenting valid documents, such as a Swedish passport/ID card, residence permit (EU), or residence and work permit/LMA card (non-EU). According to the Register Control Act, you must also present an extract from the police's criminal record (Extract for work with children with disabilities) if you are to work with minors. You can easily order this digitally via the police website.
