About the job as a Personal Assistant

As a personal assistant, you work closely with a person with a disability in their daily life. You assist and support the person both in everyday life and during leisure time. Your workplace is where the customer is located, and your overall task is to assist the customer so that they have the conditions to live the life they desire.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, receptive, and quick to learn new tasks. At Särnmark, you will always receive an introduction at the customer's home as well as access to training regarding the role of a personal assistant.

Responsibilities

Your tasks depend on the customer's needs and lifestyle. These can range from personal hygiene, assistance with mobility, household chores, and cooking to assisting the customer at work or during activities outside the home.

About the employment

As a substitute, the form of employment is hourly-based employment, and the wage form is hourly pay. Working hours vary according to the customer's needs: day, evening, night (active and on-call), weekdays, and weekends. For some of the positions, a driver's license and access to a car are required. Salary and other terms of employment are in accordance with the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna – Kommunal.
