Personal Assistant for Active Woman in Lerum

We are looking for an engaged and caring personal assistant for our female client in Lerum. The client is a positive 53-year-old woman who needs your help to continue living an independent and active life. She has recently undergone a tracheostomy (trach) and has a PEG tube, but aims to return to work.

Your Role

As a personal assistant, you will play a crucial role in her daily life. The client uses a wheelchair and has issues with physical stamina. Therefore, she needs help with daily chores to conserve energy and continue enjoying life to the fullest.

Although the client can drive herself, she would like assistants to help with driving to facilitate and save energy. Additionally, she needs help with activities such as outdoor walks and attending concerts. Skills in cooking are a plus, as the client appreciates good food and culinary experiences. Please note that the client receives most of her nutrition via the PEG tube.

The duties involve significant handling of the tracheostomy and breathing assistance, requiring precision and knowledge.

Working Hours and Conditions

The working hours are part-time with mixed shifts during the day and night. We are therefore looking for assistants who are flexible and can adapt to the client's needs and wishes. There are expected to be 2-3 shifts per week, with each shift lasting 12 hours. The employment level is approximately 50%. Start date is immediate if possible.

If you are an empathetic, reliable, and responsible person who is passionate about helping others, this could be the perfect job for you. Experience in healthcare or as a personal assistant is a REQUIREMENT. Education in healthcare or experience with tracheostomy and PEG is highly advantageous.
