Lackarebäck Preschools

Lackarebäck Preschools is an organization consisting of five preschools and two principals who work in a shared leadership model. Our preschools are named Enerbacken, Lackarebäck, Ormås, Stensjön, and Svejserdalen, located close to each other in East Mölndal. We see ourselves as a learning organization where collaboration, trust, responsibility, collegial learning, joy, and humor are important parts of our culture. Job Responsibilities

At Lackarebäck Preschools, we work together with the fairy tale as the foundation for teaching. With experience-based learning that is enjoyable for both children, educators, and guardians, we enter the world of the fairy tale together, where we meet different fairy tale characters in the form of hand puppets and through the portrayal by us adults. The fairy tale and its characters run as a red thread through everything that happens at the preschools, and together with our holistic view of learning and teaching, the fairy tale is used to achieve the goals in the preschool curriculum. Our preschools are literature-diplomated and work with language in focus, where literature is a natural part of our daily life. We collaborate with the library and receive continuous visits from the book bus. We are also certified in play (Lekcertifierade), which goes hand in hand with our literature profile.

Our Goal

"People should grow here" characterizes our daily life. This applies to both small and large. As principals, we work to ensure that all our educators grow within the areas they show interest and curiosity in. At our preschools, we have joint process groups and responsible educators who participate in the City of Mölndal's network within environment, language, ICT, literature, and creativity, contributing to development and learning within the organization. For the best possible learning and quality, all our preschools collaborate and share experience, knowledge, and innovation. We have joint APT (professional development days) and study days where competence development is in focus.

In Mölndal, we offer a wellness allowance of 2,500 SEK, access to an individual iPad, and outdoor work clothes. We have close cooperation with the city's special pedagogical team, including a special needs teacher, preschool psychologist, and social worker. We also have mentors for childcare assistants in the organization.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are engaged and responsible and who feel curious about our way of working as literature-diplomated preschools with the fairy tale in focus.

In your role as a childcare assistant, you are a key person in the daily work. You actively contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for our children, always with a relational approach as the foundation.

Your mission involves:

• Carrying out planned teaching and activities, especially related to literature and our new development work with joy of movement (Make a Move).
• Actively participating in care work and ensuring that every child feels welcome and seen.
• Showing great interest in your mission and contributing to a positive and good pedagogical activity every day.
• Having good cooperation with colleagues where everyone is seen as an important asset in the team.

You have a positive attitude in meetings with people and are flexible. You have good knowledge of Swedish as well as digital systems.

Employment Form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
