Your responsibilities

The responsibilities include teaching, supervision, examination, and course administration within courses and programs at the undergraduate and advanced levels, primarily within social work. Teaching in other educational programs (including commissioned education) within the Academy of Health, Welfare and Work also occurs. Teaching is conducted primarily online within the department's educational programs.

The position includes time for research and competence development amounting to 20%. The applicant is expected to participate in one or more research groups and thereby actively contribute to the academy's research environment, which also includes research linkage to the education provided.

Your qualifications

For the position of University Lecturer in Social Work, the following are required:

  • A doctoral degree, primarily in social work, or secondarily in another social science or another subject relevant to social work.
  • Documented pedagogical skills.
  • Documented experience of teaching within the social work program or courses in social work.
  • Documented experience of research within social work.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Good collaborative skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Documented administrative skills and leadership ability.

The following are meritorious:

  • A degree in Social Work or Social Care.
