Bogesundskolan is a school for grades F-6 located in the central parts of Ulricehamn. We are a school with approximately 460 students, with three parallel classes in each grade level, as well as three after-school care units. Job Description

In this position, you teach craft with a focus on textiles for students in grades 3-6. Your teaching is based on the goals and guidelines of the curriculum and is characterized by a holistic perspective where both the students' knowledge development and their well-being are at the center.

You become an important part of the students' creative learning and have the opportunity to awaken their curiosity, joy of creation, and problem-solving skills through a subject where theory and practice meet. In your teaching, you create structures and contexts that give students the prerequisites for success, while challenging them to develop further based on their individual conditions.

The work takes place in close collaboration with the textile craft teacher, where you together plan, develop, and follow up on the teaching. Through collaboration, you have the opportunity to create a clear progression and wholeness in the craft subject, with the students' learning in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach craft and who want to be an active part of our students' learning and development. As a teacher here, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching in accordance with current regulatory documents. You create a clear, structured, and secure learning environment where study peace prevails and where students have the opportunity to develop as far as possible based on their prerequisites.

In your teaching, you awaken engagement, curiosity, and participation. You have a good understanding that students learn in different ways and meet them where they are, while challenging them to take the next step in their learning. You see assessment and documentation as a natural part of the task and use it as a tool to make visible and drive students' knowledge development forward.

As a person, you are structured and have a good ability to plan and organize your work in a way that creates clarity for the students. You show genuine engagement for both each individual student and the school's operations as a whole. You see opportunities in change and want to actively contribute to developing teaching together with your colleagues. Collaboration is a natural part of your working style, and you contribute to a good work climate by sharing experiences and participating in the work team's joint planning and collegial learning.
