The preschools in Southern Visby consist of Bogen, Bullerbyn, Korallen, Myran, Torpet, and Ängen. The preschools are located in Southern Visby and Vibble.

Your Responsibilities

As a preschool assistant (barnskötare), you are part of a pedagogical team consisting of preschool teachers and preschool assistants. In your role, you support the preschool teacher in planning, implementing, developing, and following up on education based on the needs of the children and the preschool curriculum. As part of the preschool team, you contribute to designing the preschool's pedagogical environments and participate in development conferences, parent meetings, and collaboration between home and school. Together with the team, you work to ensure that children and parents experience security, curiosity, and joy.

You will meet many competent colleagues – both at your preschool and through various networks and development groups where other preschools in our area participate.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a professionally trained preschool assistant with a completed child and youth care education.

You need to be computer literate and familiar with other digital media. You should keep the children in focus and have confidence in their abilities and competence. You understand and master Swedish in speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have experience from work within preschools and if you have experience working with accessible learning environments.
