Your Responsibilities
As a teacher, you contribute to the development of the school's pedagogical activities. You are a clear and structured leader in the classroom with strong pedagogical skills in teaching. You have high expectations of the students and can motivate them to achieve good results in their schoolwork by clarifying goals and knowledge requirements.
You adapt your teaching to the students and adopt a formative approach. Your pedagogical role often requires ingenuity, creativity, and flexibility, and you use strategies to promote students' motivation, participation, and influence.
You collaborate easily and see the work team as an asset. Together with the team, you plan, implement, evaluate, and develop teaching based on the school's governing documents and goals. The role also requires collaboration with other colleagues at the school. As a teacher, you must have a good ability to analyze the child's needs and the ability to use methodology well adapted to the student and the group. The position includes teaching in Swedish as a Second Language.
Your Qualifications
Licensed teacher with eligibility to teach Swedish as a Second Language in grades 1-3.
We place great value on good leadership qualities and the ability to create a conducive learning environment. We would appreciate experience in early reading and writing acquisition as well as teaching students with Swedish as a second language.
As a person, you are stable and confident, with a good ability to build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You can work independently, are receptive, and can adapt to the student's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the role.
What We Offer
The position is a fixed-term employment until 2026-12-31, with a possible opportunity for extension and permanent employment.

If offered employment within the Department of Children and Youth, you are required to present a certificate of no objections from the Police's criminal record registry for work in schools/preschools. The certificate is free of charge and takes approximately 2-3 weeks for the police to process. Therefore, order it in good time!
