Creative Art Teacher Wanted at Kunskapsskolan (50%)

Your role with us

In the role of art teacher for grades 4–9, you have primary responsibility for the planning, implementation, and assessment of the subject. You create lessons that range from traditional crafts to digital creation and image analysis.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher in art for primary school. You have good knowledge of Lgr22 (the Swedish curriculum) and the ability to make grading criteria understandable and motivating for the students.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is confident in your professional role and passionate about the subject of art.
• Sees the potential in every student – whether they are aspiring artists or need support to dare to start creating.
• Is solution-focused and enjoys being part of a team, even if you own your own art room.
• Has the ability to create structure in the creative process.

About Kunskapsskolan Varberg

Kunskapsskolan Varberg is a primary school for grades 4-9 and currently has approximately 320 students. The school started in 2015 and aims to provide the best conditions for our students to succeed. We want the students to experience Safety and Study Calm, as this is an important factor in reaching their goals.

Application and Contact

The position is a permanent employment (with a probationary period) at 50%, starting as agreed. Selection is made on an ongoing basis. A certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record) is required for work in schools.
