The Role of Music Teacher

As a music teacher with us, you plan and conduct teaching in accordance with the curriculum, focusing on sparking curiosity and creating a desire to learn. You adapt the teaching to the students' needs and prerequisites, using music as a tool for both learning and community building.

Together with your colleagues, you work to create the best possible learning environment for students to grow in – both academically and personally. In this role, you contribute to a culture of sharing where we take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other.

Your Profile

We are looking for a positive and engaged person who loves music, rhythm, and working with children and young people. You have a natural ability to create energy in the room and inspire students to express themselves through the power of music. With creativity and structure, you lead lessons where students get to explore and develop – and where every individual feels seen and included.

You are a role model who motivates, shows care, and builds strong relationships – with both students and colleagues. Through your engagement, you contribute to a culture where we lift each other up and create an environment where both you and others have the opportunity to become their best selves. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a certified teacher with qualifications in music

It is an advantage if you have:

• experience working as a teacher

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent part-time position (60%) with a start in August, subject to agreement. Work days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
