Våxtorpsskolan is a comprehensive school (grades F-9) located in Våxtorp, 13 km southeast of Laholm. Våxtorpsskolan is in an intensive development phase where we look forward and place the students and their learning and development at the center of our work in the teaching team. The goals for the operations are to work towards the knowledge goals of the curriculum, develop students' social competence, and create participation in their own learning process.
We want all students to become their best selves during their time with us. We believe students have the prerequisites to achieve this, as our pedagogical direction is to use a language- and knowledge-developing approach and create accessible learning environments throughout the operations. In the promoting and preventive work, there are good support functions close at hand, such as special needs teachers, school psychologists, counselors, and school nurses.
About the Position
Teaching music for grades 3–6. You will become part of a teaching team together with other teachers in grades 4–6, where you support each other and collaborate both inside and outside the classroom.
If you are a newly graduated teacher, an introduction period is included where 10% of your employment is allocated. Here you are given the opportunity to develop your teaching and your communicative skills together with your mentor.
