Furuboda Assistans is a private personal assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. Become an important part of my life – Personal Assistant Wanted

I am a 21-year-old girl looking for new personal assistants. Maybe it's you I'm looking for? I live in a house in Hästveda with my family and our cat.

I have extensive disabilities and need support in my daily life to live as independent and meaningful a life as possible.

I am looking for you who:

• Are responsible, patient, and confident in yourself.
• Have a genuine interest in helping others.
• See opportunities instead of obstacles.
• Are flexible and easy to collaborate with.
• Enjoy swimming (I swim year-round, at least twice a week).
• Like books (you enjoy reading aloud to me), music, singing, and animated films.
• Are physically active (you need to be able to jump on a trampoline with me).
• Have a B driver's license (a requirement as we often travel together and public transport is limited here).

Your role as an assistant involves being my support in daily life. Duties include among other things

• Tube feeding and medication.
• Help with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Support with transfers.
• Interpreting and facilitating my communication.
• Accompanying me to day activities, leisure activities, doctor visits, family activities, outings, shopping, and travel.

Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and every third weekend. You are needed immediately. During an introduction period of 2–4 weeks, we get to know each other at a relaxed pace, while you gain basic knowledge about, among other things, epilepsy, developmental disabilities, and alternative communication. Previous experience as an assistant is not a requirement – personal chemistry is the most important! Sounds interesting? Then I look forward to hearing from you!
