About the School

Practical Gymnasium Täby offers students a concept where theory is interspersed with practical exercises both inside the school and out at workplaces. At Practical, we hold ourselves to high standards to create the best conditions for an educational and fun experience. Our teaching is characterized by flexibility, closeness, and practical learning. Our program offerings include: HV, FS, HT, and EE programs as well as the IM program. Currently, the school has approximately 200 students and about 20 employees.

We offer apprenticeship training from year 2.

Your Role

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting in August 2026. You will teach and supervise our students across all our programs and, together with other colleagues, you will be part of a work team. We see you as an important and driving force to develop both the program and the subject, with the students in focus and in collaboration with colleagues. In addition to subject-specific tasks, you, like other teachers at the school, have duties such as mentor, and together you and your colleagues coach the students socially and academically throughout their three years at Practical Gymnasium. We communicate primarily through Schoolsoft, and we work in a Google environment by sharing digital documents, calendars, and plans. This applies equally to interactions with students and colleagues.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified upper secondary school teacher in Physical Education and Swedish. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. We value your ability to meet students based on their knowledge and needs, and that you identify with our values and keywords. Our students are eager to enter the workforce, and your biggest task is to guide them there!
