We are currently seeking a Controller for Nordfin Capital's headquarters, located at Lindholmspiren in Gothenburg. You will join a warm and flat-hierarchy team with great potential for professional development in this role.

As a Controller at Nordfin Capital, you are responsible for both Accounting and Business Controlling. A central part of the role involves taking over accounting from external providers and establishing efficient internal financial processes. You have overall responsibility for the company's financial reporting and serve as a key business partner to the management.

Main responsibilities:

• Accounting & Closing: Ongoing bookkeeping as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual closing for five companies.
• Legal Reporting: Annual reports, tax returns, and VAT reporting.
• Business Controlling: Profitability and performance analysis, KPI tracking, and decision support.
• Budget & Forecast: Budget process, liquidity forecasts, and business models in close collaboration with the CEO.
• Process Development: Implement and improve routines and system support within the finance function.
• External Contacts: Primary contact for auditors, banks, and payroll partners.

Personal qualities and qualifications

We are looking for a humble, driven, and structured person who thrives on order and precision, but who also has the ability to look beyond the numbers and see the business value behind them.

To succeed in this role, you are self-motivated, quality-conscious, and have strong collaboration skills. You have several years of experience as a qualified accountant or finance manager with broad knowledge of closing processes and annual reporting.

Furthermore, you have experience with, or a strong interest in, Business Controlling and financial analysis, good Excel skills, and experience in building and developing financial processes. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience from factoring, fintech, banking, or debt collection is a plus.
