Your Responsibilities

Are you an engaged and innovative vocational teacher passionate about developing education? We are looking for you who want to help shape the future of learning within Care & Social Services!

The role involves working with flexible and distance education via our learning platform. Furthermore, the position entails working with our combination programs, i.e., courses that combine vocational studies with the Swedish language. You are responsible for the planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching. Many of our educational initiatives are directed directly at the industry, for example, the Elderly Care Boost. This type of education is conducted through flexible studies and validation. The position is based at our school in Kungsbacka.

The "Vocational Lab" is an important arena for teaching with us. It is a new and dynamic educational concept where students get to work practically in an authentic environment with strong ties to the industry. Here, you have the opportunity to take your teaching to the next level and create a reality-based learning environment for our students.

We see that you are ready to contribute to course development in light of the introduction of GY25 (the new upper secondary school curriculum).

About Visible Education

Visible Education is a training company specialized in education within the fields of Care & Social Services and Childcare & Leisure. We offer education within adult education, university college level vocational studies, as well as competence development for Care & Social Services personnel. Furthermore, we work with digital skills training for employees in public sector operations such as home care, elderly care, rehabilitation, and home healthcare.

Our school is located in central Kungsbacka, within walking distance to train and bus connections.

Your Profile

• Licensed and qualified vocational teacher in Care and Social Services.
• Experience in adult education is meritorious, but not a requirement.
• Experience teaching on the Care and Social Services program is meritorious, but not a requirement.
• Background in healthcare and/or elderly care is meritorious.

The Employment

The position is a permanent full-time employment (100%). A probation period of 6 months applies. Working hours are during the day. Evening hours may occur on occasional occasions. Start date in October or as agreed. We apply the collective agreement between Almega Service Companies and the Swedish Teachers' Union.
