Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund is a municipal consortium responsible for providing and developing upper secondary education and adult education for the member municipalities of Borgholm, Kalmar, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Torsås. We have approximately 4,000 students and 600 employees spread across our five schools.

Lars Kagg School is one of the upper secondary schools within Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund. The school has approximately 1,300 students and 130 employees. We offer both vocational programs and university-preparatory programs. We provide a friendly and pleasant workplace with dedicated colleagues in a developing environment.

Job Description

We are looking for a vocational teacher who wants to contribute to the development of our operations at Kalmarsunds Gymnasieförbund, located at Lars Kagg School's Electrical and Energy Program. The main content of the position is practical and theoretical teaching in upper secondary courses within the Electrical and Energy Program. The role also involves mentorship, working closely with student health services and guardians to ensure students thrive, maintain high attendance, and achieve high goal fulfillment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who works or has worked in one or more of the following areas: electrical engineering as an electrician or similar, or within automation with electrical engineering skills.

Holding authorization is meritorious but not a requirement! You have strong professional knowledge and are good at guiding and instructing others. You are a person with a genuine interest in working with young people. With your commitment, you provide students with excellent conditions to develop as much as possible. You are a team player who also takes significant personal responsibility, you are flexible, and you enjoy taking initiative and seeing opportunities. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Employment type: Permanent position.

Before an employment offer is made, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record for work in schools must be presented.

The position is filled subject to the condition that it does not need to be taken by surplus staff or that required political decisions are made.
