We are now looking for a self-sufficient Accountant at Sportson who wants to take ownership of the accounting, create structure in complex flows, and be a key person in the company's continued development.

The finance function is central to the operations, and you will work closely with the company's CFO as well as colleagues in finance and administration. Here, you will have the opportunity to step into the operations and "bring home" the accounting, which today is largely handled by an external firm. You will have the opportunity to put your own mark on the role moving forward.

About the Role

In the role of Accountant, you will have overall responsibility for the accounting in several companies within the group. You will work independently with closing processes, reconciliations, and ensure quality in the accounting, while also serving as a support to colleagues on finance-related matters.

You will become a key part of creating structure in complex flows related to cash registers, integrations, and various payment solutions. The role also involves driving development and automation in the system environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Responsible for ongoing accounting and ensuring quality in bookkeeping
• Perform monthly and quarterly closing processes
• Work with group accounting
• Handle tax declarations and VAT matters
• Follow up on discrepancies and analyze differences
• Support and guide colleagues in customer and supplier accounting
• Work closely with the CFO on financial issues and ongoing follow-up

We are looking for someone who

• Has a university education in accounting
• Has several years of experience in qualified accounting work, including independent closing processes
• Has experience with group accounting
• Is proficient with systems, preferably Fortnox or similar
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently

• Location: Gothenburg, Västra Frölunda, with some possibility of remote work
