We are now looking for a Personal Assistant who wants to work with a cheerful young man in Almunge.

About the client:

He is an adult, but has the mind of a child.

He has Cerebral Palsy and a developmental disability and needs help with everything in daily life. This includes assistance with dressing and undressing, personal hygiene, eating meals (both solid food and sometimes tube feeding), and accompanying him to various leisure activities.

He enjoys people, appreciates laughter and music.

He does not speak verbally, but communicates how he feels and what he wants through body language.

About the job:

We are looking for hourly substitute staff starting immediately, and after the summer, a 65% substitute position for an extended parental leave.

The workplace is in his own home, a house in Almunge. Good bus connections are available from Uppsala.

Working hours are 15:30–08:00 on weekdays and 10:00–10:00 on weekends. Waiting time may occur during the night.
