IES Kungsbacka is now seeking a qualified teacher in German and Textile Crafts on a full-time basis, starting from Autumn Term 2026.

The position includes a mentorship role, meaning you have overall responsibility for the students' knowledge development. You maintain close dialogue with the students' guardians and conduct development conferences.

Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You work in teams with teaching colleagues, support teachers, and leisure center staff. Our mission is to jointly lead and support the students in their social and academic development. In the team, educators help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day.

Your qualifications:

• You have a Swedish teacher's degree with a specialization in Modern Languages – German, as well as a Swedish teaching license.
• You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement curriculum goals in your work.
• You have clear leadership skills and stand strong in your student groups.
• You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared.
• You are a present and research-oriented educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop.
• A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is obvious to you.
• You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive, cooperative, and ready to join an international team.

Language requirements:

In your role, you teach in Swedish/German, but between colleagues, we speak English/Swedish. This means you need to master both languages fluently, both in speech and writing.
