Job Responsibilities

We need more Emergency Response Personnel (RIB) in both Herrljunga and Annelund.

We are looking for you who want to make a difference for those affected by various types of accidents and thereby create security in society.

You will respond to alarms for acute emergencies such as fires, traffic accidents, cardiac arrests, and other situations where the need for a rapid intervention can be decisive.

You will receive basic training within 1–2 years, divided into several sessions.

To maintain good skills, you will practice approximately 50 hours per year.

Being a firefighter means being part of a group with good camaraderie and a strong team spirit. After training, you will have competencies that can also be used in your main job or during your free time, such as fire safety and CPR.

On-Call Duties

As RIB, you are on call every fourth week.

When alerted, you must arrive at the fire station promptly so that the fire engine can leave the station within 6 minutes.

This means that your home and regular workplace must be located such that you can meet this time requirement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is in good health, has good physical fitness, and is a competent swimmer.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have at least a Category B driver's license.
• Approval from your main employer is a prerequisite for employment.
• You must live and work in a location that allows you to meet the 6-minute response time.

Selection, interviews, and recruitment will take place on an ongoing basis.
