About the position

We are currently seeking a personal assistant for a wheelchair-bound young woman living in Hörby. The position is an hourly contract for work as needed and to cover for regular staff absence. Your tasks will include personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers and lifting, medication administration according to delegation, and care related to tracheostomy and tube feeding. Assistance for this client is double-staffed, except during night hours when one of the assistants is on standby. Awake nights may occur in case of illness.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 07:00 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 22:00

About the client

The client is a girl in her late teens living at home with her family. She attends school on weekdays and enjoys being active in various ways. She likes, among other things, swinging, being out in nature, painting, listening to music, crafting, baking, and spending time with her family.

About you

As a personal assistant with us, you play a decisive role in creating a safe and meaningful daily life for our client. You will be an important part of their life, contributing to their independence and well-being.

We believe that you, as an applicant for this position, are a calm, positive, and creative person – qualities that the client truly appreciates in their surroundings. It is also important that you are flexible, reliable, and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as an applicant and the client. This may become decisive in the final selection.

Requirements:

• Hold a B driver's license for automatic transmission,
• Have access to your own car,
• Are not allergic to furry animals.

Merits:

• Have nursing experience and a healthcare-related education,
• Have experience with tracheostomy.

Extent: Extra/As needed. Number of positions: 1. Start date: Immediate, by agreement. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position will be filled as soon as possible. Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will cover both extracts from the criminal register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so orders should be made well in advance.
