JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, your mission is to provide support that promotes self-determination, participation, and good living conditions. You work based on the individual's needs and rights, respecting their integrity and focusing on a good and safe life. You will work closely with the tenants and provide individual support in their daily lives. You will help shape implementation plans, create structure and clarity in everyday life, and use methods such as low-arousal responses and clear pedagogical approaches. You document according to applicable laws and guidelines and collaborate with relatives, colleagues, and other professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with relevant education and experience in care and support, as well as good knowledge of LSS and its value base. You have experience and knowledge in low-arousal responses, clear pedagogical approaches, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and preferably also motivational interviewing (MI). You are self-assured, empathetic, and able to build good relationships. You can work both independently and in a team, are flexible and solution-oriented, and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.

The working hours for the positions will be irregular, including evenings and weekends.

Daily Activities will be located adjacent to the accommodation, and in the role of support assistant/support pedagogue, there may be opportunities to work in both operations.
