Treatment Assistant at SiS Youth Home Margretelund

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS also implements closed youth care. We do this at youth homes and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. Working with us at SiS will be an exciting challenge. Regardless of where you work in our organization or what position you hold, you help create life-changing transformations.

SiS Youth Home Margretelund receives non-compulsory school-age girls and boys with psychosocial issues, criminality, and substance abuse. We operate in Lidköping and near Falköping.

Job Description

Do you want to help create life-changing differences for vulnerable people? Then the job as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. You also help maintain order and safety in the institution according to our routines. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and contribute to ensuring that our youth receive the safety and security they need to break old habits. Together with your team of dedicated colleagues, such as treatment pedagogues and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Our vision is to be a place for change, and this permeates our approach, our commitment, and our attitude.

Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of people, great empathy, and the ability to build good relationships.
