Personal Assistants (Summer Temporary Positions) – Hjo Municipality

About the Position

As a personal assistant, you are an important support in the client's daily life. You assist with personal care, practical tasks, and social support based on individual needs. The work is varied and requires both sensitivity and responsibility, while also providing a lot in terms of meaning and close relationships.

You will have contact with relatives, collaborate with colleagues, and perform certain health and medical care tasks by delegation. The work is patient-centered, and in several placements, you will work together with another assistant during day and evening shifts to create safety and good care.

Working Hours

The working hours are scheduled over 24 hours but may occasionally involve different hours in case of urgent vacancies.

About the Temporary Positions

We are looking for someone who thrives in a changing environment and wants to make a difference when it is truly needed during the summer period, but there is an opportunity to start working as early as April 1 and onwards.

We are looking for someone who:

• is empathetic, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people
• is flexible, cooperative, and self-assured
• has the ability to adapt your working methods to different needs
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has completed upper secondary education, preferably in health and care

The work can be physically demanding and requires good physical ability. Experience in personal assistance or similar work is advantageous but not a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
