Committed Support Educator Wanted for Gärdsåsgatan Group Home
We are now looking for a committed support educator for Gärdsåsgatan group home! We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to creating good living conditions for people living in BmSS (Housing with special services).
About the Position
Gärdsåsgatan group home is located in Bergsjön. Here, six tenants live in their own apartments with access to shared spaces. The target group is individuals within psychiatry with active substance abuse. The operation is individualized and offers support around the clock based on LSS and implementation plans.
As a support educator, you play a central role in the pedagogical development work within the organization. You drive and are responsible for processes regarding individual and pedagogical methods that promote each tenant's goals and development. Together with the work group, you establish, follow up, and develop implementation plans where tenants are involved in the planning.
You act as a pedagogical support for colleagues by guiding and inspiring in the work with structures, methods, and approaches. Pedagogy is seen as a shared responsibility within the work group, where your role is to contribute to reflection, learning, and development of working methods.
In this role, you collaborate with the unit manager, relatives, and other actors in the tenants' networks, always with the individual's best interests in focus. You will also be part of the pedagogical network in the district where support educators meet on current issues and development work.
The work also involves providing tenants with individually tailored support in their daily lives. You motivate and support them to participate in community life and leisure activities while creating conditions for structure, self-determination, and security.
The working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends and are adjusted according to the needs of the operation.
We hope you become curious about our operation!

The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
