Your job is to assist and support users, both children and adults, based on assessed needs.

You will work in a structured and goal-oriented manner based on an established implementation plan, in dialogue with users and in close collaboration with colleagues and coordinators for the operation. You will be part of a smaller workgroup and contribute with engagement to meet the user's needs.

In your daily work, you will be based in the user's home and provide support according to the existing needs. The support includes everything from assisting the user with daily routines, meals, and household chores, to motivating and accompanying them to various activities. You will help ensure the quality of the service by documenting deviations and important events in our operational system.

Of course, you will receive an introduction before your employment so that you can feel secure in your role.

The holiday period runs from June to the end of August. We are positive about starting before summer on hours. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening, night, on-call, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for a stable and independent person with a high degree of personal maturity. You have a good ability to maintain a well-functioning collaboration with both users and colleagues and other people you meet in your work. You are proactive and enjoy driving the work forward by working together with users, colleagues, coordinators, and managers.

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant, support assistant, or similar, and that you have experience working as a personal assistant and/or experience in escorting/respite care in the home with children, youth, and adults. It is an advantage if you have experience in autism and low-arousal approaches, AAC, track, tube feeding, cough machines, and epilepsy.

Social documentation is an important part of the work, which means you need to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Good to know

It is mandatory to undergo a digital language test to ensure competence at the B1 level according to the Council of Europe's standard before the interview. If you meet the requirements for the position, you will receive an email to take a language test. Please note that the process will be interrupted if the language test is not passed. You will need to identify yourself with Bank-ID to take the language test. Before a potential employment, you need to present a valid passport or national ID for identity and citizenship verification.

The Health and Care Administration consists of four departments: Assistance and Health, Functional Support, Elderly Care, and Support and Development. The Health and Care Committee is politically responsible for the administration's work. Our operations involve providing care, support, and service to elderly individuals and to those in need of functional support. We also perform certain health and medical care. The vision is, among other things, that our efforts should be carried out safely, securely, with dignity, and with influence.
