Responsibilities

Daily activities are offered as an alternative to work and studies for people with disabilities of working age. The task includes creating a safe and good care in daily life based on the individual's conditions. An important part of the work is to promote communication and social interaction. We work in a low-stress and structured manner with clarifying pedagogy and communication to give the individual the opportunity for as independent a life as possible.

We provide support to individuals with NPF diagnoses (neuropsychiatric disabilities). The task includes having good knowledge of the laws that form the basis for our work.

Since we are a small daily activity, we also have room for individual adaptation aimed at filling each day with meaning. Examples of activities include outdoor walks, music, excursions, sports, creative creation, and visits to other activities, etc.

It is important for us to both maintain and develop our competence and have time for planning. For this, we have set aside meeting time every week.

The working hours are a full-time measure of 37 hours per week, scheduled for weekdays during the day and work every other weekend at the group home.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who approaches tasks with enthusiasm and commitment, which is reflected in your ability to see opportunities rather than obstacles! You have the ability to see your own part in the whole and therefore want to contribute to improvements and a work environment where you value joy, collaboration, and communication. You need to be able to take independent responsibility for your tasks while also being an active part of the team.

Competence Requirements

• You have completed the nursing program and are a nursing assistant/support assistant or have another education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities.
• Ability to work independently and also have good collaboration skills.
• Class B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills.

Meritorious

• Experience working in daily activities.
• Experience with low-stress approaches, AAC, and clarifying pedagogy.
