Part-time positions at Forsane short-term accommodation
We are now looking for part-time staff for our short-term accommodation for children and young people in Frändefors, Vänersborg municipality. Apply for the position by 2026-04-30.
About Forsane Forsane is a short-term accommodation for children and young people aged 10-20 years. We have 7 places and are located in the countryside outside Frändefors. Our target group is children and young people with high-functioning autism or similar autism spectrum disorders and/or other neuropsychiatric diagnoses.
We accept children and young people both with support based on LSS and SOL placements, and work on behalf of municipalities across the country. The children and young people who come to us may arrive in an acute situation and often find themselves in a crisis. We work based on the model Step by Step, MI, crisis and trauma care, and LAB, clarifying pedagogy.
With us, a cheerful team works, bringing various skills and experiences. At Forsane, we have support pedagogues, social pedagogues, nursing assistants, and childcare workers. We have a close-knit community that supports, develops, and complements each other. In the operation, there is a group manager, a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation. There is also an operations manager available for support.
About the role In the role of support assistant, you will work in the operation with a wonderful group of colleagues. As a support assistant at Forsane, we work with tasks and responsibilities according to the Step by Step model, and you are an important part of the team.
Based on the individual needs and wishes of our placed children and young people, you provide support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. You work with the children and young people both in the operation and participate in activities, medical visits, or leisure activities. We encourage outdoor activities, which include walks, ball games in our garden, or larger activities outside our operation. We work based on a model with clarifying schedules for the young people to structure their daily lives. Your tasks vary based on each young person's individual planning and needs.
The work includes documentation in the form of journal notes, assessments, and reports to our clients. Therefore, you should be comfortable documenting and have a good command of the Swedish language.
The work includes tasks that are commonly found in a home.
The work is based on scheduled working hours with shifts during the day, evening, weekend, and on-call or awake night shifts.
Your experience and knowledge
We are looking for someone who
- Holds a B driver's license
- Has good knowledge and experience from working with NPF diagnoses and psychosocial issues.
- Is attracted to a job that is varied, including time-wise, and enjoys meeting people in different situations.
It is an advantage if you have:
- At least 1 year of post-secondary education with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science, or have a vocational degree as a support pedagogue.
We expect you to convey a sense of security in daily work. It is important that you have a professional approach both towards our placed children and young people and their networks, clients, and your colleagues. This includes good collaboration skills and a willingness to help our children and young people while being able to set boundaries logically. The work demands that you are flexible and solution-oriented.
