Do you want to be a central part in supporting children and families in Hisingen?
If so, this position might be for you.
The High-Intensity Team (HIT) belongs to the Department of Children and Youth Resources Hisingen, which offers support to children, youth, and their parents. We are now looking for two new employees to complement our High-Intensity Team, which currently consists of ten family therapists and one method supervisor.
The High-Intensity Team works on behalf of government-appointed social workers with qualified psychosocial treatment interventions for families with children and adolescents aged 0-18 years. We work with families where there is high concern and often complex issues, offering flexible and intensive solutions with the goal that the child can remain at home or to reduce the number of days in full-time care. The unit also assists with care assessments.
The work is based on various evidence-based methods and takes place in the form of social pedagogical work, child and youth conversations, parental support, and family conversations. We work in the family's own arenas, primarily in their homes. The work also places great emphasis on activating both the private and professional networks. The intervention can vary depending on the needs, which may require work in the early mornings and evenings. We have regular process supervision with an external supervisor as well as internal method supervision.
Our High-Intensity Team is in a creative and expansive phase where we are together developing the forms of our work. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this exciting work!
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker or has a 3-year social pedagogical education. You need to have experience working with various forms of family therapy, youth work, or parental support, as well as good knowledge of children's and youth's development, needs, and behavior patterns. It is an advantage if you also have experience in governmental work with children and youth. The same applies to experience working with children, youth, or families in full-time care.
A significant part of our work involves documentation, so it is important that you can express yourself well in both speech and writing and have experience documenting. We document in the program Treserva.
It is advantageous if you are trained in methods aimed at our target group focusing on strengthening interaction and developing parental strategies, such as FFT, COS-P, ABFT, or CBT-based methods. It is also beneficial if you are trained in MI and TMO.
To fit into the role, it is important that you are committed to meeting families in a way that creates a trusting collaboration and motivation for change. You take responsibility for your tasks with the organization's/users' best interests in mind. You need to be self-driven, work systematically and methodically, and be able to make independent decisions while having good collaboration skills. You enjoy and see opportunities for change and create situations where new ideas and proposals can develop. You take your tasks seriously, are committed to completing what you have started, and ensure that the work is done correctly. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and have an open and positive attitude, as you have the user's/client's needs as the starting point for your actions. You have the ability to work together with others and contribute to the whole. You establish clear goals and follow up on your interventions to measure the effect of your work.
At our workplace, we strive for diversity to increase the quality of our work and to reflect the population we meet, and we therefore welcome applicants with varying experiences, backgrounds, and language skills.
We hope we have sparked your interest - welcome with your application!
