We are currently looking for part-time and summer substitutes for our BmSS accommodations (Housing with Special Services) in northeastern Gothenburg, focusing on psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and social psychiatry.

Our accommodations are located in Angered, Rannebergen, Gårdsten, Hjällbo, Kortedala, and Bergsjön. Placement will be based on the needs of the operations.

About the job

In our accommodations, adults with individual support needs live. As a substitute, you play an important role in creating structure, safety, self-determination, and participation in the tenants' lives.

The work may involve:

• Educational and social support in daily activities
• Personal care
• Assistance with household chores such as cooking and cleaning
• Medication management according to delegation
• Documentation
• Collaboration with networks around the individual

You will work both independently and with colleagues to provide each tenant with the best possible support based on individual implementation plans.

The work involves encounters with challenging behaviors, self-harming behaviors, and substance abuse issues. Therefore, we actively work with low-affect responses to create calm and safety.

The goal of our work is for each person to have a daily life with as high a degree of self-determination, participation, and quality of life as possible.

As a part-time substitute, you will replace regular staff during absences. You will be offered flexible working hours scheduled during the day, evening, awake night, and sleeping on-call during weekdays and weekends. You have the flexibility to manage your working hours by indicating your availability and then receiving requests for shifts.

As a summer substitute, you will be offered a position with a fixed schedule during the summer. There is an opportunity to work either: day/evening, day/evening/sleeping on-call, or only awake night. Weekend work is included.

Qualifications

In this operation, solo work may occur. In accordance with (AFS 2023:2 6 chap. 56, 8 §§), you must therefore be at least 18 years old to be eligible for the position.

You need to master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, which requires a passing grade in Swedish 1, Swedish as a second language 1, or equivalent. Those who do not meet these qualification requirements may be offered to take a language test through the testing user Educateit.

If you are a trained support assistant, nursing assistant, or have another education that the employer assesses as equivalent, or if you have ongoing education in care and nursing, psychology, pedagogy, or social work, it is meritorious.

It is highly meritorious if you have experience working with the psychiatric target group and if you have experience responding to outwardly aggressive behavior.

Summer substitute:
