Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done, as well as having good values, enjoying being social, and being playful.

We are now looking for someone who fits the following:

• wants to work with a 9-year-old girl living in Hönö

• has good knowledge of Swedish

• has experience working as a personal assistant

• has good physical fitness and enjoys being outdoors in all weather

• is smoke-free

• can tolerate pets as there is a cat in the household

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience working with a lift

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is “as long as the assistance assignment lasts” with an employment rate of approximately 65%. Working hours are scheduled for day and evening during these days:

Tuesday 07:00-20:00

Friday 07:00-20:00

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are according to collective agreements.

Start date according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
