Kungalv Municipality is looking for a Support Pedagogue for Personal Assistance

Kungalv Municipality is seeking individuals who want to make a difference! We need professional and motivated staff to deliver welfare services of high quality. Here, engagement and professional service go hand in hand while you help influence people's daily lives and society at large. A good workplace culture and support for your personal development are important to us. Your contribution matters!

Description

We are now looking for a support pedagogue for personal assistance - a new position with the opportunity to influence and build the pedagogical work within assistance! With us, you will have a meaningful job where you contribute every day to creating security and quality of life for our users.

This is a newly established position where you, together with the unit manager, will have the opportunity to shape the role and develop work methods moving forward. As a support pedagogue, you will center the users' needs and work closely with the unit manager and colleagues in the staff group to implement measures according to LSS decisions. You will also be part of the municipality's support pedagogue network within the disability area.

We are looking for someone who wants to drive a business characterized by development, innovation, and high quality. With a pedagogical and motivating approach, you will support users in creating a safe, meaningful, and content-rich everyday life.

In addition to daytime work, part of this position is also scheduled for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

As a support pedagogue, you will work closely with the unit manager and colleagues, taking an active responsibility for developing the business from a pedagogical perspective.

Your role includes clarifying routines and designing, implementing, and following up on job descriptions. You will guide and support colleagues in methodological work, provide guidance in the establishment and follow-up of implementation plans, and ensure correct social documentation in the Treserva journal system. Always in line with the business's goals, quality requirements, and applicable laws and guidelines.

In addition to the pedagogical work, you will support our users in their daily lives with tasks such as personal hygiene, mobility, and communication. This may also include training, household tasks, and activities together. Many of our users are elderly and may therefore, in addition to functional variations, also have age-related diseases such as dementia, diabetes, etc. It is therefore important that you feel comfortable with care and support tasks.

You will have an independent and varied job, where tasks are based on each user's life situation. This role places high demands on responsibility and the ability to create good relationships. Much of the work is performed individually, so it is very important that you feel comfortable with this.

As a support pedagogue, you will have a lot of contact and collaboration with relatives and other professionals around the users. You are expected to handle these contacts with professionalism, clear communication, and a solution-focused approach.

In this position, you will work with several users, so you need to be flexible and able to adapt based on the user's and the business's needs.
