Personal Assistant Wanted

Do you want to be my assistant? I am a young man about to turn 18 who enjoys going for walks, riding a tricycle, swimming, staying active, watching TV, and much more. I need support with most things to make my daily life work. You will help me plan and carry out my everyday activities.

Job Responsibilities

As a personal assistant, you will support a person with disabilities based on their needs so that they experience the best possible quality of life and assist with all daily life activities – including leisure activities and travel, as well as facilitating social interaction with friends and family.

The working hours are generally 14:30-20:00 on weekdays and 10:00-20:00 on weekends.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who wants to do something meaningful and enjoys working closely with people. Personal suitability is crucial – your attitude is more important than perfect qualifications.

• At least 18 years old at the start of employment
• Experience in the assistance profession and/or healthcare is an advantage, or ongoing education in the field
• Responsive and works in a low-affect manner.
• Ability to take responsibility, remain calm, and treat others with respect

Requirements:

• Smoke and drug-free
• Criminal record extract upon potential employment
