Payroll Specialist at the Personnel Unit in Nacka Municipality

Your Mission

The personnel unit consists of 16 colleagues, of which 10 work in payroll, who together support the municipality's operations so that Nacka can be an attractive employer with competent, proud, and motivated employees. We drive, develop, and deliver services in payroll and personnel administration, focusing on quality, efficiency, and really good service.

In your role, you will work with your colleagues on the entire payroll process for all operations within Nacka Municipality. You ensure that laws and agreements are followed so that the correct salary is paid on time – and that the right cost is allocated to the right place.

The role includes, among other things:

• Providing support and service to managers and employees in payroll and contractual matters through our common support function via case management systems, phone, and meetings
• Being responsible for some specialist areas within payroll together with a colleague
• Interpreting and applying collective agreements and labor law from a payroll perspective
• Driving continuous improvements and smarter working methods with the help of digitalization

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

• Post-secondary vocational education in payroll or equivalent experience as a payroll specialist
• Good IT and digitalization skills and an interest in working smarter with system support
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in independent, qualified payroll work, preferably within municipal operations or another larger, complex organization
• Good knowledge of labor law and collective agreements from a payroll perspective
• Knowledge of the collective agreement General Terms (AB)
• Experience with Personec P
