Junior Accountant

ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Junior Accountant, you will play a central role in the daily accounting work. You will support the finance manager and contribute to ensuring high quality in the ongoing accounting, from accounts payable and receivable to accruals and reconciliations. To succeed in this role, you will work meticulously with a structured approach. We appreciate a humble personality and good collaboration skills.
This is a long-term consulting assignment with the possibility of employment with our end client. The workplace is located in central Stockholm, and working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
This role is operational and involves supporting the finance manager with ongoing accounting, including handling accounts payable and receivable, as well as assisting with year-end closing and improvement projects. You will work to ensure that accounting processes are efficient and accurate.
- Registration and coding of supplier invoices and handling contact with suppliers in case of discrepancies.
- Payment imports, ongoing reconciliation of balance accounts, and handling of accounts receivable, including reminders and collections.
- Booking and reconciliation of daily cash reports, bank transactions, and currency exchanges.
- Performing accruals, depreciation, and provisions.
- Assisting with monthly closing, year-end closing, and audits, including account reconciliations and documentation.
- Supporting the finance manager in improvement projects within accounting and administrative processes.
- Maintaining registers in the accounting system and related systems.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has completed a university degree in finance/accounting
- Has basic knowledge of accounting (e.g., monthly closing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, depreciation, accruals)
- Has good system skills
- Has basic knowledge of Excel
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience with systems such as Visma Net, Winvoice, Visma Amili, Shopify, Adyen, Klarna, Paypal, Mynt, Asana, Oxceed.
- Advanced skills in Excel.
