The Swedish National Space Agency has 30 employees and you will be based in offices in Solna. The HR generalist role is new at the agency, which means great opportunities to influence and develop working methods and structures. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement, and a probationary period applies. We warmly welcome your application!

Responsibilities

As an HR generalist, you will have full responsibility for the agency's HR function and work independently and operationally across the entire HR area. You will play a central role in developing and maintaining the agency's HR work. You will provide support to managers and employees on issues related to recruitment, workplace environment, labor law, competence development, and various HR processes. The work involves close collaboration with the head of staff and contributes to creating structure and clarity in the agency's personnel work.

In this role, you will handle a wide range of HR issues, from workplace environment and rehabilitation to recruitment and competence supply. You will drive systematic workplace environment work, follow up on actions and documentation, and support managers in workplace environment and personnel matters. You will also collaborate with the security officer on issues related to security clearance, position analysis, and other security-related HR processes.

You will support managers throughout the recruitment process, coordinate internal training, and contribute to the agency's strategic competence supply. In addition, you will work with HR administration, updating governing documents, reporting and statistics, as well as collaborating with trade union representatives and MBL processes. The role also includes developing HR processes and long-term working methods that strengthen the agency's continued development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university or college degree in HR/personnel science, or another education that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience in broad HR work and are used to providing advice and support to managers on HR-related issues.

Furthermore, you have experience and knowledge in labor law and systematic workplace environment work, as well as good administrative skills. The role requires excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as good skills in the Office suite.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Experience working in a government agency with HR-related issues
  • Experience working with HR issues in a smaller organization
  • Experience in recruitment
  • Experience in process development or improvement work within HR

You are meticulous, organized, and work methodically in your processes. Since the agency is small, the role also requires a service-oriented and unpretentious approach, as well as the ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.

The Swedish National Space Agency is an administrative authority under the Ministry of Education with responsibility for state-funded national and international space activities in Sweden regarding research and development. The agency's expertise is in demand, and new programs have recently been launched.
