About the position We are now looking for a Lawyer for a government agency in Stockholm! You will work with issues related to the Freedom of Information Act and the Secrecy Act. The role is placed in the archive and registration department, which consists of five archivists, two registrars, and one administrator with corresponding tasks.
The position includes the following tasks:
- Disclosure of public documents and secrecy assessment according to the Freedom of Information Act and the Secrecy Act
- Secrecy review of documents prior to disclosure
- Preparation of decision support for secrecy assessments
- Processing and administrative tasks related to disclosure cases
- As time permits, the role may also include legal support to the archive and registration department.
Assignment period and scope:
The position as a Lawyer is a full-time consultancy assignment starting immediately as agreed and is expected to last for three months. There is a possibility of extension.
Requirements for the position:
- Law degree, legal education or equivalent
- At least three (3) years of work experience as a lawyer
- Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent
- Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable qualifications for the position:
- Solid and well-documented experience in disclosing public documents and secrecy assessments according to the Freedom of Information Act and the Secrecy Act
- Good knowledge of Adobe Acrobat or equivalent tools.

The role also requires you to be service-oriented and act in accordance with the agency's policies, guidelines, and routines. Flexibility is important, without compromising quality.
