Do you want to be part of developing the Quit Smoking Line? The Quit Smoking Line (SRL) is a national, free support line for people who want to change their tobacco habits and for their relatives.

SRL also offers guidance in tobacco cessation and accepts referrals from, among others, the healthcare sector. The advisors are certified tobacco cessation specialists and provide qualified advisory conversations. The operation is funded by state resources and is run by the Center for Epidemiology and Community Medicine (CES), Region Stockholm. The Center for Epidemiology and Community Medicine (CES) contributes to good and equitable health for the population in Stockholm County through knowledge development and dissemination. About the position:

We are now looking for a tobacco cessation specialist with a strong interest in conversation methods. Your tasks will consist of providing support and qualified advisory conversations to clients via phone and chat. You will also work with the management and development of digital tools and systems as well as with the follow-up of the operation.

About you:

Qualifications:

• You need to have a relevant higher education in healthcare, psychology, public health, or similar to qualify for this position.
• You are a certified tobacco cessation specialist or equivalent.
• It is advantageous if you have in-depth knowledge of motivational interviewing and CBT, as well as experience with digital tools and systems and survey research for follow-up purposes.
• Good knowledge of English and possibly additional languages is also an advantage.
• It is beneficial if you have experience in improvement/development work.

Personal qualities:

In your work, you are meticulous, flexible, and proactive, and you find it easy to collaborate with others. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and an interest in oral and written communication. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment form

Permanent employment. Full-time 100%. Part-time can be discussed. Working hours Monday-Friday. A probationary period may be applied. Start as soon as possible or by agreement.

• in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
