About the position

Financial Operations is part of the finance department and is geographically located at Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge. The department is responsible for the accounting assignment for both Karolinska University Hospital, Danderyd Hospital, and Södertälje Hospital.

We are now looking for an experienced accountant who will have an important and coordinating role across the different units within the customer invoicing group at Financial Operations. The position involves close collaboration with several operations and gives you the opportunity to work both operationally and development-oriented.

In the role, you will be responsible for ongoing accounting and participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. You will work with reconciliations of balance accounts, analyses of income statement accounts, and reconciliation of intercompany transactions. Furthermore, you will handle transaction transfers from subsystems to the financial system and participate in finance and system-related projects.

You will also act as support and advisor in accounting matters and work continuously with invoice management and patient and customer contact.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in finance
• At least 3 years of experience in broad and qualified accounting work
• Very good accounting knowledge
• High IT maturity
• Very good knowledge of the Office suite
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience from large complex organizations
• Experience working in transaction-intensive operations
• Previous work with process mapping
• Previous work with risk management related to the implementation of new processes and working methods.
