We are looking for a structured and analytical HSEQ Coordinator for a comprehensive industrial project within BECCS. The role is central to the project's planning and execution phase and involves ensuring systematic, structured, and proactive monitoring of requirements related to health, safety, environment, and quality.

You will work closely with the HSSEQ Manager and the project organization with a clear focus on audits, inspections, regulatory compliance, and implementation on site. The role aims to strengthen the operational HSEQ work without taking formal coordination responsibility according to Swedish occupational health and safety legislation.

You will report to the HSSEQ Manager and collaborate closely with the BAS-P Case Manager, BAS-U Case Manager, Environmental Specialist, QA/QC, and other parts of the project organization.

Overall Responsibilities

• Ensure structured document management in Project Place and ACONEX with a focus on traceability and quality assurance
• Follow up and analyze HSSEQ KPIs and Control Tower
• Prepare and present reports regarding HSSEQ performance
• Identify recurring deficiencies, trends, and systematic weaknesses
• Contribute to increased foresight by identifying upcoming high-risk activities

Main Responsibilities

Work Environment (H & S)

• Support BAS-U and BAS-P by developing, maintaining, and following up structures and routines that ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety legislation and project requirements
• Verify that systems are in place for managing incidents, risk assessments, work preparations, and method descriptions, and that these are developed, reviewed, and followed up according to legal requirements and the project's governing documents
• Ensure that safety rounds, safety walks, and work environment follow-ups are planned, conducted, and documented
• Follow up HSE incidents in ACONEX and ensure that risk observations, near misses, and accidents are managed and closed
• Coordinate HSE training for project members as well as contractors and suppliers

Audits and Quality Assurance

• Plan, coordinate, and follow up internal HSEQ audits and inspections
• Develop and maintain a structured HSEQ audit program covering:
• Work environment (H&S)
• Quality management in collaboration with QA/QC
• Environmental management in collaboration with the Environmental Specialist
• 
  
• Verify compliance with the project's governing documents, routines, and agreed working methods
• Coordinate and ensure that ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) and control plans are established
• Document and follow up audit findings, deviations, and improvement measures
• Ensure follow-up, closure, and traceability of NCR (Non-Conformity Reports)

Environment (E)

• Collaborate with the Environmental Specialist to ensure the implementation of environmental requirements, regulatory decisions, and protective measures
• Follow up through reviews and audits that contractors apply approved environmental routines according to agreed requirements
• Coordinate environmental audits and reviews in close cooperation with the Environmental Specialist

Qualifications

• Relevant post-secondary education in occupational health and safety, environment, quality, or equivalent
• Documented experience in HSEQ work in larger industrial or construction projects
• Good knowledge of Swedish occupational health and safety legislation
• Experience in audit work and systematic follow-up
• Good familiarity with document management systems, preferably ACONEX and Project Place
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
