Samsung is now seeking a Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team based at our headquarters in Kista. In the Nordics, we are a sales and marketing organization with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Helsinki. What Will This Role Accomplish?

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the accounts payable process to ensure timely and accurate vendor accounts. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with vendors and local stakeholders, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and contributing to Samsung's overall financial health. You will work closely with the AP team leader on various tasks and improvement projects to meet our organizational high standards.

What Will the Job Look Like and What Key Deliverables Will Be?

• Ensure travel and expenses are accounted for according to accounting principles and tax regulations
• Monitor the Shared Service Center to ensure timely and accurate invoice posting
• Manage corporate card administration and credit limits
• Conduct audit and compliance checks and collaborate with the internal audit team to implement process improvements
• Execute bank payments and related postings
• Identify and eliminate open items in the accounts payable ledger
• Create service requests for the Shared Service Center located in Europe to perform specific tasks
• Monitor monthly closing procedures to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date
• Develop and enhance existing workflows to increase efficiency, accuracy, and ensure compliance with our policies and processes
• Conduct internal process and system training to enhance competency within Samsung

Qualifications

What Do We Need for This Role?

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree (or equivalent), preferably in accounting, finance, or similar
• 3–5 years of work experience in accounts payable
• Experience working in a global and complex marketing organization and collaborating with diverse cultures
• Handling large data in Excel, including functions like pivot tables, vlookup, and macros (a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal presentation and communication skills – must be fluent in both Swedish and English
• Able to interact with a large number of stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• A structured and detail-oriented person
• Curious and adaptable with an analytical, solution-oriented approach
