About the assignment

We are now looking for an experienced accounting assistant/bookkeeping assistant for a consulting assignment with our client in central Stockholm. The assignment focuses on accounts receivable (AR) combined with broader support for the finance function.

The client is undergoing a system transition, where basic competence and precision are in place, but there is currently a capacity need during the transition period.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will work with:

• Accounts receivable (AR)
• Follow-up and collection of outstanding customer receivables
• Credit collection, including contact with customers
• Support in ongoing finance and other recurring tasks within the finance function
• Collaboration with existing resources within AR, project accounting, and ongoing accounting

The role is practical, operational, and broad, with significant personal responsibility within the AR area.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who has worked with accounts receivable and is used to working in an environment where everything is not completely structured. You should have good experience working in finance, preferably with a focus on accounting, and enjoy supporting and helping where needed.

We would like you to:

• Have good knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Be meticulous, structured, and responsible
• Enjoy following up, communicating, and driving matters to completion
• Be comfortable with English in both speech and writing
• Have an interest in and preferably some understanding of international business

The important thing is that you are confident in dialogue, professional in your approach, and willing to understand how business and payment flows work.
