Do you want to work in a role where you have full process ownership, significant responsibility, and the opportunity to develop and streamline work methods? We are now looking for an analytical and solution-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for Samsung's Nordic headquarters in Kista!

About the position

In the role of Accounts Payable Specialist, you will have overall responsibility within accounts payable and become a key person in ensuring efficient and quality-assured processes. The team consists of a manager, a Team Lead, and two operational specialists.

The team is responsible for a total of six processes. You will collaborate operationally, but each specialist has clear process ownership with responsibility for development, follow-up, and improvement.

You are expected to work independently within your areas of responsibility, drive improvement initiatives, and actively contribute to streamlining work methods. We are looking for someone who does not settle for identifying problems but drives solutions all the way to completion.

Job responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing several AP processes with full process ownership
  • Ensuring correct handling of accounts payable, payments, and expenses
  • Analyzing transactions, identifying discrepancies, and driving solutions
  • Following up and quality-assuring the work from the Shared Service Center
  • Conducting controls related to audits and compliance
  • Driving improvement initiatives within processes and systems and conducting internal training

You will work closely with the AP Team Lead and have contact with internal stakeholders at various levels, external suppliers, and the Shared Service Center.

We are looking for someone who

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Very good understanding of AP transactions and financial flows
  • Experience in analyzing transactions, troubleshooting flows, and identifying causes
  • A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
  • Good knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables and VLOOKUP, macros are a plus)
  • Experience with SAP
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
