We at Vindex are currently looking for an independent and analytical Financial Accountant for our client. The role involves a broad area of responsibility within accounting and reporting, where you will be an important part of a finance team. Our client is a leading global player, and we are therefore looking for someone with experience from larger and preferably global organizations.

Location: Stockholm area

Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will have a varied role with responsibilities including:

• Inventory reconciliations
• Treasury work, including weekly liquidity forecasts and currency purchases
• Bank reconciliations and fixed asset register
• Handling of payments, both domestic and international
• Intercompany bookings, reconciliations, and investigations of discrepancies
• Accounts receivable reconciliations and currency revaluation of accounts
• VAT reconciliations and reporting to the Tax Agency
• Payroll cost reconciliations and provisions
• IFRS 16
• Accruals and reconciliations
• Participation in audits, annual financial statements, and annual reports
• Reporting to Statistics Sweden and group monthly reporting
• Support with ERP-related tasks and other projects

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• A degree in economics or equivalent education
• Very good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP systems and a strong interest in systems
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Broad experience in accounting, preferably from a larger international company (K3, IFRS) with a high transaction flow
