EY has ambitious plans to expand our financial services department and is looking for driven colleagues with experience in financial regulation from consulting and/or the finance industry to join our team in Stockholm. This position opens up a progressive career where you will work closely with our Nordic clients to solve complex problems with innovative solutions. We are particularly seeking resources to contribute to our Compliance & Conduct and our Internal Audit team.

Your role as a consultant

As a member of our teams, you will work with many of the leading banks, insurance companies, securities market companies, and other financial institutions in the Nordics, benefiting from the deep knowledge and experience of your EY colleagues. Furthermore, you will contribute to EY's reputation as a market leader by building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding our offerings, and actively seeking opportunities to develop new solutions. In the role of consultant, you will work with one or more of the following topics:

• General project management and methods for regulatory-driven projects
• Financial supervisory issues and reporting
• Recommendations to clients regarding regulatory issues, corporate governance, technical implementation, and strategic implications
• Implementation of large transformation projects, such as around new regulations and business processes
• Control function assignments in the second and third lines of defense
• Development and implementation of new strategies, policies, and processes for a rapidly changing regulatory environment
• Assisting our clients in their efforts to become more digital, for example through AI usage and other digital solutions
• Design and innovation of private equity solutions and strategies, application processes for financial licenses, and similar changes
• Facilitating training sessions and presentations for boards and other bodies

Qualifications for the position

• Relevant university degree (e.g., in law or economics)
• At least two years of professional experience in financial regulation (we are looking for team members at all seniority levels)
• Experience from the finance sector
