What does the Document Verification Unit do?
The Document Verification Unit performs qualified authenticity assessments of documents and prepares expert statements in accordance with the EU's established competency requirements for a legally secure analysis of documents. The unit also serves as a support function for the agency nationally and internationally regarding document-related issues. The Document Verification Unit has an educational responsibility within the agency concerning document review at the regional level.
What does a migration assistant do in the Document Verification Unit?
As a migration assistant, you will register and manage documents and cases in document and case management systems. You will handle mail and archive documents, as the unit is a central function working nationally and supporting other operations. Additionally, you will work with administrative tasks related to the submission of documents, reviewing various documents, and entering statistics into our case management systems.
The role of a migration assistant means that you will encounter different types of questions daily. This, in turn, allows you to quickly acquire knowledge that is often very valuable for your continued career within the Migration Agency. If you thrive in an administratively oriented role where both the volume and quality of your output are of great importance, this is the role for you.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with an unpretentious and flexible approach. You are structured and can independently plan, prioritize, and organize your work effectively towards set goals and deadlines. You are service-oriented and accommodating in your interactions with colleagues, applicants, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills, are attentive, and resolve conflicts constructively. You communicate clearly and ensure that messages are conveyed and that expectations are clear for all parties involved.
In our work as civil servants, there are also high demands for judgment and a strong awareness of security and confidentiality.
Requirements for applicants
- High school education or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Experience in administrative work within public service
- Experience in roles requiring good service
- Good communication skills and express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel.
It is advantageous if you have
- Academic education of at least 120 credits in behavioral science, social science, or legal studies
- Experience in similar tasks at a government agency
- Experience in archive management.
Information
Employment type: Special fixed-term employment, for a maximum of one year.
Working hours: Office hours, no possibility for remote work
Location: Sundbyberg
Start date: As soon as possible by agreement
