We are currently looking for an employee on behalf of our client who has an interest in processes and problem-solving, as well as basic knowledge of accounting. The client is a large, reputable company with operations in several countries – an exciting workplace for those who want to develop.

In this role, you will work with daily controls at the transaction level while contributing to process improvements and actively participating in project work where a holistic perspective is important. You will be an important link between Finance and IT on a Nordic platform, where you are given freedom under responsibility.

Since this is a longer consulting assignment, you will be employed by us at Avanzera and work at our client's site. As a consultant at Avanzera, you will receive a fixed monthly salary, paid vacation, and a dedicated consultant manager who supports you throughout your journey.

Responsibilities:

Your areas of responsibility include:

• Daily Controls - Responsible for ensuring that purchase transactions are handled in accordance with agreements and partners, as well as reconciliation of liquidity from external card issuers.
• Internal Processes and Projects - the role requires an understanding of integration between different systems and involves handling extensive, partially complex financial flows. It requires a proactive, structured, and logical approach to meet tight deadlines.
• Accounting – you need to have a basic understanding of general ledger accounts and VAT. The role includes ongoing bookkeeping, reporting, reconciliation of general ledger accounts, and year-end work.

Your Background:

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a person who is meticulous, driven, and curious. You work in a structured and methodical way, with the ability to handle time-consuming routine tasks without compromising quality. You are motivated by developing and simplifying processes and are happy to take the initiative to contact others and engage in dialogue to solve problems smoothly.

We see that you have a high level of IT maturity, are skilled at working in various systems, and have strong logical thinking.

Additionally, you are service-oriented and unpretentious in your collaboration with both internal and external contacts. You enjoy analyzing and understanding complex logistical flows and primarily work independently, but can also collaborate with others to achieve common goals. You do not hesitate to tackle recurring tasks that need to be resolved.

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree with a bachelor's degree in economics/accounting or equivalent.
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to express yourself well in English, both orally and in writing.
• Experience in development issues and system testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• At least 1 year of work experience in accounting.
• Experience working on larger projects is also an advantage.
