Your Responsibilities

The role of Business Controller is both operational and strategic, and you will work to improve processes within project accounting, result monitoring, and enhance budget and forecasting work. In your daily work, you will support managers in better understanding the business, identifying improvement opportunities, creating budgets, and forecasting revenues and costs. The role is broad and requires you to have a good ability to understand details while also seeing the bigger picture.

• Analyze and evaluate results, key figures, and deviations from the budget
• Project accounting and project liquidity as well as monitoring project status with project managers
• Monthly presentations of results
• Drive processes within budget and forecasting
• Deliver decision-making materials to relevant parties within the company
• Implement and develop new tools for operational monitoring
• Ensure compliance with regulations

Worth Knowing

The position is based at the Stockholm office in Norsborg, near Slagsta ferry terminal with free parking. You will report to the regional manager for Stockholm but will have close collaboration with the CFO and the finance department located in Helsingborg.

Our Expectations

We are looking for someone who has worked with project accounting and monitoring and has experience in clearly communicating financial analyses and results to managers and other non-financial personnel. You have the ability to identify improvement opportunities in the business and drive development together with business managers and management. Relevant educational background is a degree in economics or equivalent, and we want you to have worked for at least five years in business-related controlling. To be able to take on the role, you have good experience in handling large amounts of data and analyzing operations as well as driving budget and forecasting work. The role requires strong system skills and excellent knowledge of Excel. Experience with the business system Power-BI is an advantage. You have a high analytical and solution-oriented ability and see opportunities for development and improvement. In addition, you are communicative and structured. Furthermore, you have a flexible approach and meet people in a trustworthy, humble, and attentive manner.
