Are you an analytical person who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to help clients manage complex HR and People issues during large corporate and private equity transactions? We are now looking for a dedicated junior consultant to join our HR transaction team in Stockholm. As a consultant in our team, you will advise the client throughout the entire transaction cycle, including HR and pension due diligence, carve-outs/separations, and achieving synergies during integrations.
Your role as a consultant
- Conduct HR due diligence, including analysis of financial data to identify key personnel-related financial exposures such as personnel costs and liabilities, risks related to key employees, benefits comparisons, and assessment of incentive programs.
- Collaborate with other EY workstreams and clients to manage personnel-related issues during the signing-to-close and integration phases (e.g., implementing operational HR models, organizational design, strategies for union consultations, compensation planning) to ensure smooth transitions for employees.
- Support the evaluation, design, and development of retention strategies that align compensation, benefits, and incentives for managers and key employees with overall acquisition goals.
Qualifications for the position
- Relevant master's, postgraduate degree or higher is preferred (e.g., finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or statistics). For bachelor's degrees, higher demands are placed on the points below.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- 0–3 years of work experience after graduation.
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
