Ryssbyskolan is a medium-sized rural school located about 1.5 mil outside Ljungby. There are good transportation options just outside the school. Approximately 120 students attend the school in grades Fk to year 6. Our after-school care will consist of about 75 students in the fall. In our operations, we have access to two sports halls and our own swimming pool. The outdoor environment includes a large schoolyard with access to a football field, bandy rinks, a zip line, and several different play equipment. Currently, grades F-3 start their school day two to three times a week with PULS-enhancing activities to create safety and study peace as well as to strengthen our goal fulfillment. At Ryssbyskolan, we see all students as our students, and the working environment is characterized by a focus on a good social work environment with an emphasis on safety, respect, and collaboration. Differences are seen as an asset.
